It was a huge job before this happened. My heart aches with what happened in Connecticut and there is no making sense of it. I think of gun laws, strict laws wouldn't have helped, locked doors, the gunman was related to a teacher, so he would have gotten in anyway. Do we put gun detectors at every door? Then we would need enforcers, guards? The more I question, the more questions come to mind, questions that I can't answer. <br /><br />As for succumbing to the fear...how would that manifest itself, my locking yourself in the house? Or by living every moment to its fullest? I choose the latter, as the events of what happened here, the events in the mall, the events of Colorado, the loss of my own 2 brothers, only tells me one thing, that life is fragile and can be lost at any moment.
